Posted by Nick2728, 259 days ago Nov 28, 2007 11:49

Systemax Manufacturing today announced that it has put four new notebooks on the market: the Medallion XV, Medallion XVII, Pursiot 4165, and Pursuit 4250 models all of which bear the Santa Rosa Chipset developed by Intel. This chipset allowed Systemax to offer a variety of improvements to their customers such as boosting the range and increasing the reliability of their Wireless N allowing for wider use to those on the go. There is also the Turbo Memory feature that has been designed to work with Windows Vista’s ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive features to increase the computer’s existing RAM and therefore to speed up start up time and system performance. The four notebooks have a set price range that goes from $879 to $1350.

Purchasers can select between the Windows XP and Windows Vista to be installed on their notebooks, which also come included with a 1.3 Megapixel camera, along with NVIDIA GeForce 512mb video, Bluetooth, a set of stereo speakers and a subwoofer.  The Director of Marketing for Systemax, Scott Strunk, stated that the company “decided to release four notebooks in order to meet the distinct computing needs of general consumer and business customers” and as a result the company has developed “four aesthetically pleasing machines which all utilize the Intel Santa Rosa chipset and boast a strong feature set.” For more information on Systemax Manufacturing and it’s products please visit their homepage at www.systemaxpc.com.
